These rounds are full metal jacketed round which are designed to penetrate body armor, although due to the round's low powered nature it cannot effectively penetrate medium armor.
It is also available in 9x19mm PB1s
General Characteristics
Edit

Much like the 9x18, extremely ineffective against armored targets, with the damage severely reduced. Suitable for the Walker P9m, HPSS-1m, and Martha pistols, as well as the Viper-5 submachine gun.
In Call of Pripyat, 9x19 FMJ have unusually high velocity - combined with their low air resistance, their effective range is vastly improved compared to previous games, making them vastly preferable to 9x18mm weapons, and even on par with .45ACP until the player can acquire .45 ACP Hydroshock.
Ammo (in the "real world") is packed in 50-round paper boxes. There are 20 paper boxes per M2A1 metal ammo can, for a total of 1,000 rounds. There are two metal boxes per wire-bound wooden crate for a total of 2,000 rounds.
Usage
Edit
9x19mm can be used in the Walker P9m, Martha, HPSS-1m, and Viper 5.
