The Balance IL 86 is a unique variant of the IL 86 assault rifle featured only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

OverviewEdit

With a few modifications the effect of the throwing up of the barrel was diminished. The Balance IL 86 has slightly lower recoil than a standard IL 86. Other than that, it performs no better than a stock model and doesn't weigh any less. This is more or less for people who like the IL 86 as their main weapon.

Shadow of ChernobylEdit

This weapon is carried by a stalker named Scarecrow who usually can be found in the Wild Territory, or on rare occasions, at the Loner camp in the Army Warehouses. In order to retrieve the weapon, Scarecrow must be killed. If one isn't keen on killing someone without reason, Lukash gives a job that requires his assassination "for mother Earth".
