Cache in the safe is a stash located in Yantar in Clear Sky.
Overview[]
The stash coordinates are gained from looting a corpse. The location of the stash is in the Production complex on the second floor of the building to the west of where Lefty's crew opened the second valve. This is the building used to enter Lab X16 in Shadow of Chernobyl and where Zombified Stalkers came out of to attack Lefty's men.
Walkthrough[]
Starting from the roof of the building with the second control valve, use the wooden bridge to enter the building and go down the steps and into the room on the right. Stay along the wall to the right to avoid the anomaly and get into position at the bottom (north) of the safe or to the right of the bottom (west), crouch and look at the bottom right corner of the safe (northwest) to access the stash. Another option is to get on top of the safe and look along the bottom edge while continually pressing Action. Sometimes you get in without the message on the screen. To get out of the Psi-emission, go back out to the roof where you started and get to the south end of the building where it's safe to recover.
Notes[]
- As you enter the front gate of the Production complex, you are hit with a critical Psi-emission level. However, if you wait until after the mission with Lefty and his men, there is no emission until you get near the building with the second control valve.
- The Zombified Stalkers won't attack unless they are close and see you. Again, if you wait until after the mission, the number of zombies is down to only a few.
