Diplomat

You know how to solve a problem peacefully. Who needs brute force when simple words can resolve a dispute just as well? Nonetheless, you should watch out for people that shoot first and ask questions later.

Diplomat is an Achievement earned in Call of Pripyat. It is awarded for seeking peaceful resolutions to conflicts.

Rewards

• Increases reputation with all Stalkers, (Loners, Bandits, Duty, Freedom), significantly for all of them. Useful for getting the 'Faction Friend' achievements.

Earning the Achievement

This achievement is earned by completing Vano's Debt and Hostage crisis side missions peacefully.

• Approach the bandit group in the Checkpoint area, and pay Vano's debt. Threatening them and lowering the price won't hamper your progress.
• Rescue Mitay from the Container Warehouse by approaching the sentries without a gun out, and ask them to allow you in. Talk to the bandit boss and pay him to let Mitay go. Another bandit will block the only exit out of the area, and will demand a random amount of money (May vary, save/reload is advised). Pay him, and bring Mitay back to the base.
