The Gas Station is a minor location in the Dark Valley in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

Overview[]

This complex offers a few side jobs, but doesn't really factor into the story line of either of its appearances. It is located near the Factory, just across the main road.

Layout[]

The main building is on the east side of the road across from the Freedom base. To the southeast is a wooden clad building that has no doors or windows. South of that are three large storage tanks. At the south end, closer to the road is a small building, which was probably used by the attendants of the fuel pumps in front.

Appearances[]

Shadow of Chernobyl[]

An injured Loner can be found inside the station alongside two dead bodies. When approaching him, the player will be ambushed by a Bloodsucker. If the player gives the injured loner a medkit, he'll tell the player that a Gauss rifle is being sold at the Pig farm.

Clear Sky[]

The Gas Station is home to a couple of Bandits that must be eliminated as part of a side mission given by Freedom's barkeeper, Ganja. Yar also provides a side mission that requires the player to go to the station at night and recover the PDA of his fallen friend. Two bloodsuckers roam around the corpse.

The northern storage tank has a Gas anomaly on top with an artifact. To get it, use the ladder of the southern or middle tank and start to the side of the walkway of the north tank. Jump up on the rail and slow-walk past the anomaly. Come off the rail and grab the artifact, then jump back up on the rail and back out.
