Appearances[]

Shadow of Chernobyl[]

After taking care of Skull's group, Lukash may provide a mission to investigate Pavlik and find out who he is working for. The player must go to the Far farmstead and hide while waiting for Pavlik to make contact with his associate. It is later revealed that he is working with Mercenaries, more specifically a man named Ara. After identifying his connection, the player is tasked with killing both Pavlik and Ara.

  • His appearance is borrowed from the "Ratcatcher", a character in the Agroprom area that was cut from the final release of the game and replaced by the Deserted soldier.
  • In earlier versions of his mission, he would be found at the Freedom base and would proceed to wander out at night to meet Ara, which would have required the player to follow him without being seen. A cut voiceline associated with this mission can be found in the game assets.

Trivia[]

  • His name is a reference to Pavlik Morozov; in fact, the folder containing his audio files is named as such.
  • Ara calls him "Pavlusha" in dialogue.
  • Pavlik's role is similar to the traitorous commandant Lingov who did the same in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky; selling information about Freedom in the Dark Valley to mercenaries.
