The Fort-15 is a unique weapon featured only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

OverviewEdit

The Fort-15 is a modified Fort-12 pistol. The only differences is the magazine size and slightly better durability. The Fort-15 has a 15 round magazine, while the Fort-12 has a twelve round magazine capacity. Both pistols offer decent accuracy and a decent rate of fire. It is a good upgrade from the Makarov PM and PB1s and this pistol may serve the player for a long time.

This unique pistol is held by Major Kuznetsov. He is located under the bridge at the Cordon. However if he is killed, along with the rest of his squad, Spetsnaz troops will take over and they will not accept payment for passage.

Or, if a player is feeling adventurous or is at least well equipped or quick fingered, this pistol makes a fantastic addition to the players arsenal during the early stages of gameplay. Better damage, a larger magazine and faster rate of fire make it better than any early pistol. On any difficulty level, a simple tactic is to use the double barrelled shotgun and shoot Kuznetsov in the head once. Easy kill. Quickly take cover, loot his corpse completely and grab his rifle nearby. This allows access to the pistol without issue, and if all STALKERS in the area are killed, free, easy access to the Cordon.
