The Gravi is an artifact that can be found in all three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.

Overview
Edit
The artifact is a brownish, twisted lump, created when metallic substances are exposed to strong gravitational fields for extended periods of time. It creates a weak antigravitational field, often used by stalkers to increase their carrying capacity.
It is sought by scientists, such as Sakharov, as it can potentially allow them to understand the mechanism of gravity and create anti-gravity engines.[1]
Stalker technicians have found a more immediate application - installing a piece of a Gravi artifact in the barrel of a weapon increases the speed of the bullets fired.[2]
Appearances
Edit
Shadow of Chernobyl
Edit
The artifact can be spotted near anomalies such as "Vortex" or in the hands of another stalker. While wearing it a certain amount of radiation is stored in the body while the rest of it is scattered in the radial direction away from the body. A good price.
Clear Sky
Edit
Gravi is formed from metallic substances exposed to prolonged gravitation. This makes it capable of sustaining an antigravitational field, helping many stalkers carry greater loads. Emits radiation.
Acquisition
Edit
This artifact can be found in the swamps. It is located in an underground tunnel near the broken bridge to the upper left area on your PDA. In order to find the artifact, you need a Veles detector, which is in the same tunnel but under a mattress. To get the Veles detector, throw a grenade to the left side of the mattress. You can also get one as a reward for helping a Loner squad go through a Snork den and to the Devilish camp in the Red Forest.
Call of Pripyat
Edit
Gravi is formed from metallic substances exposed to prolonged gravitation. This makes it capable of sustaining an antigravitational field, and many stalkers use it to reduce the weight of their backpacks. Emits radiation.
Acquisition
Edit
This artifact can be occasionally found in the Bitumen Anomaly.
Notable uses
Edit
The artifact was well known to technicians as they could be used to accelerate the trajectory of projectiles to greater feats. In Shadow of Chernobyl the Threaded versions of the Chaser 13 and SPSA-14, namely Combat Chaser and Threaded SPSA-14, had a small piece of the Gravi artifact built inside the barrel to boost the speed of the projectile. In Clear Sky, a small piece of the Gravi inserted into the weapon is the final superior accuracy upgrade for Soviet class assault rifles.

For that, we need the "Gravi" artifact, and fast.
