Kill the stalker called Fiend is an optional mission featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

This mission will be offered by Sidorovich once the Find the militaries' documents mission offered by the Barkeep is successfully completed.
Objectives[]
The player will have to kill a stalker called Oleg "Fiend" Gusarov, who is being targeted by Sidorovich because he plans to take over the Cordon.

- A chance to obtain his Sniper Obokan.
Walkthrough[]
In order to complete this mission player must assassinate a Veteran loner stalker called Oleg "Fiend" Gusarov.
Gusarov can be hard to find, mainly due to his tendency to travel constantly through different locations: Garbage, Bar, Wild Territory, Yantar (after X-16 is explored), Dark Valley and Army Warehouses.

- "The Fiend, aka Oleg Gusarov, used to serve in Spetsnaz. As long as he minded his own business, I had nothing against him, a Loner is a Loner. But I hear he's mustering a gang to crush down the Cordon and take control over smuggling operations from the Zone. Now this is a major problem and it has to be solved quick. So will you do it?"
Notes[]
- As with all unique assassination missions, this mission will not be available if the target is already dead. As Fiend's route in particular tends to take him through especially combat-heavy areas, he is one of the most likely unique assassination targets to die before the mission involving him can be obtained.
