The PSZ-9d Duty Armor is an early model of the SKAT-9M Military Armored Suit commissioned by Duty. It is featured only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Description
Edit
This high end bodysuit was created for use in the Zone. Comprises a heavy PSZ-12p bulletproof vest, a built-in compensation suit, and a Sphere-12M Helmet. Provides excellent protection from bullets and shrapnel, while also offering good protection from anomalies and radiation. has a remarkably high mobility and can be upgraded so that it rivals an exoskeleton, though cannot use artifacts.
Appearances
Edit
Clear Sky
Edit
This suit can only be purchased from Mitay after joining Duty, however one is given to the player free of charge by joining Duty and finishing their campaign against Freedom. This suit is essentially the same as the "Bulat" armored suit; the main differences are anomaly and radiation protection (3 points less than the Bulat and scratch/bite protection (5 points higher than the Bulat). The differences are negligible, both suits are some of the best in the game, however they are severely limited by their double artifact container limit.
Call of Pripyat
Edit
Just like in Clear Sky, it is a high-end armor comparable with the Bulat armored suit, with slightly better Impact protection but worse anomaly protection(on par with the PS5-M Universal Protection). Unlike Clear Sky, keeping true to Duty's mentality, it has no artifact slots and can't be upgraded with any.
Upgrades
Edit
The four upgrade paths have one of the most extreme protection schemes in the game; no less than three Armor upgrades, two out of which are Tier 3, will make it even better than Exoskeleton in bulletproof resistance. The suit's second best default Impact protection in the game can be upgraded further, and the utility upgrades will result in outstanding +9 health restoration, +11 wound healing and +8 stamina recovery. Finally, the weight can be reduced and carry weight improved for a net gain of 1kg.
Acquisition
Edit
This suit can only be purchased from Hawaiian by siding with Duty. In order for him to stock this suit, the player must do most of the following;
- Give Duty the PDA of Morgan.
- Give General Tachenko's PDA to Duty.
- Turn Flint in to Duty.
- Send Duty recruiters to Strider and his team.
Trivia
Edit
- It is unknown why the developers chose this name. This suit can easily be confused with the PSZ-9d Duty Suit, which was renamed to PS5-M "Universal Protection".
- This suit includes a PSZ-12 series bulletproof vest, not a PSZ-9 series vest. The correct name should be PSZ-12d Duty Armour.
