Complete the Eliminate the ambush task to receive the Respond to the SOS signal - Red Forest mission.

Scar has lost Strelok and his only hope is to find Forester to see if there is a way through Limansk. Maybe if he helps these Loners out they can help him in return?
Mission: Respond to the SOS signal[]
Make your way back up the road and follow the road as it bends to the left(east). You should see a gate in the wall and may even see the last Loner fall victim to a Bloodsucker. When you reach the gate and see that you're too late, the Respond to the SOS signal - Red Forest mission is canceled and a new task displays: Pick up PDA.
Mission: Pick up PDA[]
One of the Loners' PDA is still active and may offer some information on how to find Forester. Search the Loners to find the PDA and display a message from an unknown source telling you of a Space anomaly that takes you to Forester's place. The Pick up PDA mission is complete and a new task displays: Find a way to the anomalous area.
Mission: Find a way to the anomalous area[]
The target on your PDA map seems to be in the middle of nowhere. In fact, there is a group of Loners waiting there, provided there are no Mutants in the area. If there are, you have to clear them out before the Loners spawn. Either way, once you reach the target the Find a way to the anomalous area mission is complete and a new task displays: Find the space anomaly.
