I'm not sure how, but I killed the X16 Pseudogiant oneshot. First I was chasing him trough the tunnels and when I got behind him I shot him in his back using 5.45 Tunder. He died immediately. Do someone have the same experience???[[Special:Contributions/46.33.102.204|46.33.102.204]] 19:14, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

Call of Pripyat HP

I've been doing tests on the Pseudo's HP in Call... and it's frankly terrifying. Right now I'm looking at around:

  • 3 (!) Gauss Rifle Shots
  • 3 RPG-7 Rockets
  • 8 ROG Grenades
  • 52 12x70 Buckshot
  • 45 12x76 Slug
  • 360 5.56x45mm
  • 290 5.56x45mm AP
  • 290 9x39mm SP-5
  • 280 9x39mm SP-6
  • 350 5.45x39mm FMJ
  • 290 5.45x39mm BP
  • 100 .45ACP
  • 90 .45ACP Hydroshock
  • 500+ 9x18mm
  • 500+ 9x19mm

I lost track of the other smaller calibres somewhere around the 400 mark. LonerDeacon 23:53, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Oh damn, I'll really have to stock up on RP-74 ammo for the beast. I wonder how many 7.62 PP rounds it takes to bring one down. If the game lacks 7.62 x 54mm AP rounds, I'll add them to the game, as I did with Clear Sky. --Boredgunner

Yeah. All the health values seem to be roughly three times what they were in Clear Sky. I ran out of .45ACP and Hydroshock without even making it limp (80 of each). Guns like the Surf, Arrow, and others with damage bonuses seem to cut down on it drastically though (Surf used 250 PAB-9, 230 SP-5). As for the RP-74, it'll go down within a single expanded belt, around 160 rounds or so. --LonerDeacon

Finished measuring the health values. Absolutely freakish, and along with their radiation aura this makes them into a nasty, nasty fight. Best bet is to take a USP Compact with a firing-rate modifier, and a ton of .45 rounds. Unload the clip, sprint while reloading, repeat. LonerDeacon 00:40, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, what game difficulty were you playing on when you recorded its health? I only play on the stalker difficulty, and I killed one with 37 buckshot rounds from a fully upgraded Eliminator. Boredgunner 17:39, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

Used my Carabiner for the buckshot, I think. The Eliminator does slightly more damage per blast then the Spas and its variants, which might add up to explain that. LonerDeacon 06:30, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Yep, that makes sense. I made my RG-6 more powerful (hit power is now 2.0), and it took 6 shots to kill a Pseudogiant. Scary. Boredgunner 02:16, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Pseudogiant in Army Warehouses

I was playing Shadow of Chernobyl and i went to the army warehouses and duty killed the freedom guys then a Pseudogiant comes and kills 2 duty guys. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.181.91.78 (talk • contribs) 20:59, November 14, 2010.

I think I can confirm seeing a PG in AW. Ambushed me instantly as I entered the level. Mercifully this is SoC, and even more mercifully, this was on the lowest difficulty (maybe that's why it spawned). No time to GTFO of Dodge and sic it onto Duty though, had to pump a couple of mags with the Strelok Special. Scared the damn crap out of me!

Where art thou Pseudogiant?

I'd like to know where this Pseudogiant in "underground Zaton" is. There's alot of "underground" places in Zaton, I wish it would explain where. Yomamaisonfier 02:53, May 9, 2011 (UTC)

I think he was referring to the Underground workshop for Project 62.

Origin of mutation

Considering that we find a Pseudogiant inside the underground lab in the Dark Valley with seemingly no way in or out, might we assume that it is, in fact, the result of a scientific experiment? Flyingsandwich 06:02, August 2, 2011 (UTC)

There do appear to be similarities between the Poltergeists and the Pseudogiant - both appear to have the double-tail and no legs. Similar to the infant experiments founds in the basement of Lab X-18. I can confirm the presence of the Pseudogiant in Dark Valley, after I mopped up the bandits and military after exiting the lab - one came pounding into the factory through the front gate! No idea where it spawned though. Gave me a hell of a fright. :O Moleonthehill 20:11, December 14, 2011 (UTC)
no one truely knows their origin you know we need to read from the pda if not play OL2.2 probably in there it will explain. i can see the face kind off like a human except the teeth and nose, the arms and legs are definitly not human. that is why it is in the unknown mutant list till we find an authentic source. I'll check into it, update it as soon as I find out and post a pic of it here to prove it's origin if I find any. (Elitzur874 (talk) 19:52, May 3, 2014 (UTC))
